The xShielder iPhone 17 Pro Max combines the power of the iPhone 17 Pro Max with an ATEX certified flameproof enclosure (and, in the cemented-cover version, also IECEx) for Zone 1/21. The iPhone comes already installed in the enclosure: the large 6.9" display, the Pro camera system with LiDAR and Face ID remain fully usable in the hazardous area.

Two cover versions

S01 – ATEX: removable cover secured with screws, ATEX Zone 1/21 certification.
S02 – ATEX and IECEx: cemented cover, ATEX and IECEx Zone 1/21 certification.

Regardless of the version, the enclosure can only be opened by authorised xShielder personnel.

Patented design

The enclosure can be opened after installation: if it is damaged it can be replaced without discarding the whole device, and at upgrade time the iPhone can be removed, traded in or resold, retaining its residual value. A more sustainable solution, with less electronic waste.
