Polysulphone paddle flow switch for DN 32…DN 80 pipes

Paddle flow indicator with a polysulphone body, designed for pipes with nominal diameters from DN 32 to DN 80. It switches between 36 and 108 l/min on rising flow and between 18 and 72 l/min on falling flow, up to 10 bar and 105 °C. The reed contact is available as normally open or normally closed.

Operating principle

The medium, flowing in either direction, deflects the paddle; an eccentric moves a magnet holder with a permanent magnet which, without contact, actuates the reed contact housed in the tube.

Applications

It is installed in a standard T-piece or reducer, preferably in horizontal pipes. Straight runs of about three times the nominal diameter should be provided upstream and downstream.
