Air flow switch in which the flow acts on a paddle that, via a mechanism, operates a dust-protected microswitch. It signals whether the set minimum or maximum air volume is flowing as required. The switch point can be finely adjusted over a wide range, making the device suitable for very different applications.

Operating principle

The air flow pushes the paddle, whose movement is transmitted mechanically to the microswitch: the contact changes over when the air velocity rises above or falls below the set value.
