Compact spring-loaded float flow switch for low liquid flows up to 250 bar, installable in any orientation; optional reed contact and pointer indicator.
Compact float-type flow switch, intended above all for monitoring low liquid flows. Unlike conventional rotameters it does not use a tapered tube: an orifice float slides inside a cylindrical guide tube against a spring. This design allows the instrument to be mounted in any orientation and to withstand pressures up to 250 bar.
The flow pushes the orifice float against the spring force. A permanent magnet built into the float actuates a sealed reed contact mounted outside the tube, with no contact with the medium.
