High-pressure paddle wheel flow meter up to 100 bar with rotatable connection

Paddle wheel flow meter for measuring and monitoring low-viscosity liquids, with ranges from 0.2…8 l/min up to 2.5…50 l/min for water. It withstands pressures up to 100 bar and temperatures up to 80 °C, and is available in brass, stainless steel, POM or PVDF. The threaded connection can be rotated through 360° to suit the layout of the installation.

Operating principle

A magnet embedded in the paddle wheel and hermetically sealed from the liquid transmits the rotation without contact to a Hall-effect sensor housed in the body. The sensor converts the rotation, which is proportional to the flow rate, into a frequency signal; downstream electronics then turn it into an analogue output, limit contacts or a display reading.
