Paddle wheel flow meter for flow rates up to 140 l/min and 40 bar with batch controller

Paddle wheel flow meter for measuring and monitoring low-viscosity liquids at medium flow rates, from 0.5…12 l/min up to 10…140 l/min for water. The body is available in aluminium/bronze, stainless steel or polypropylene and operates up to 40 bar and 80 °C. It can be fitted with electronics for indication, analogue output, alarm limits or batching.

Operating principle

A magnet built into the paddle wheel and hermetically separated from the liquid transfers the rotation without contact to a Hall-effect sensor mounted in the body. The sensor produces a frequency signal proportional to the flow rate, which the connected electronics convert into an analogue output, limit contacts or a display reading.
