Measures and monitors small to medium flows of conductive liquids from 0.01 to 700 l/min, with polyphenylene sulphide/stainless or PVDF/Hastelloy® wetted parts and IO-Link electronics.

Electromagnetic instrument for measuring and monitoring small to medium flows of electrically conductive liquids in pipelines. With no moving parts, the reading is unaffected by the density, viscosity or temperature of the medium. The sensor can be supplied with a switching, frequency or analogue output, or with compact electronics offering a counter or batching function.
The sensor is based on Faraday's law: a conductive liquid flowing through a magnetic field generates a voltage proportional to the flow velocity. Two electrodes in contact with the medium pick up the signal and pass it to the amplifier, which calculates the volumetric flow from the pipe cross-section. The medium must have a minimum conductivity.
Monitoring and totalising water and conductive liquids in process lines. With the counter electronics the display shows the current flow rate on the first line and the part or total volume on the second; the batching electronics handle filling operations while measuring flow rate, total volume and batch volume.
