Stainless steel and PEEK electromagnetic flow meter for conductive liquids from 0.01 to 650 l/min, up to 16 bar and 140 °C, with TFT display and IO-Link.

Electromagnetic flow meter developed to measure and monitor small to medium flows of conductive liquids in pipelines. The stainless steel body and PEEK lining allow process temperatures up to 140 °C. The electronics provide two analogue outputs, pulse, frequency or alarm outputs, IO-Link and a control input, and are available in compact or remote versions.
According to Faraday's law, a conductive liquid passing through the sensor's magnetic field generates a voltage proportional to the flow velocity. Electrodes in contact with the medium transmit this voltage to the amplifier, which calculates the volumetric flow from the pipe cross-section. The measurement is independent of density, viscosity and temperature, provided the medium has a minimum conductivity.
