The USi-safety ultrasonic sensor system enables safety applications in accordance with category 3 PL d with just one ultrasonic sensor. One or two decoupled ultrasonic sensor units in miniature housings can be connected to the control interface, allowing installation in very confined spaces. High resistance to dirt, temperature, air currents and humidity makes the system suitable for areas previously considered too critical, such as the fork arms of an automated guided forklift.
