FS-LB-I, FP-LB-I and FN-LB-I protectors are installed directly on the instrument, in a free cable gland or conduit entry of the transmitter, with M20 x 1.5, PG13.5 or 1/2" NPT thread. The AISI 316 stainless steel IP67 housing and Ex ia IIC T6 certification allow use in Zone 1 and 2; they clamp at 85 V line-to-line and 500 V line-to-earth, also protecting instruments with less than 500 V isolation to earth.

P-LB modules plug into the field side of K-System KF modules and protect the terminals given by the last digits of the order code, with no additional cabinet wiring. Both solutions must be connected to an effective earth at the same equipotential level as the protected instrument.
