Pepperl+Fuchs HART multiplexers make the digital information of SMART instruments already wired on 4 … 20 mA loops available to maintenance software. The multiplexer polls the field devices and makes them accessible via RS-485 to a PC running software such as PACTware or AMS for configuration, diagnostics and maintenance management.

The KFD2-HMM-16 primary module handles 16 channels and up to 15 KFD0-HMS-16 secondary modules, for a total of 256 instruments; modules are linked with the K-HM14 ribbon cable and connected to termination boards with the K-HM26 cable. The HiDMux2700 provides 32 channels on an HiD termination board or on the H-System HART Communication Board.
