K-System relay modules receive a logic signal from the control system and switch field-side circuits via relay contacts, with galvanic isolation between inputs and outputs. Typical applications are remote reset, fire alarm testing and remote calibration of strain gauges.

On the KFD0-RO models the 15–30 V DC logic input is non-polarised and powers the module directly; each input is protected by a fuse and electronic current limiting. The KFD0-RO-Ex2 version is designed to switch intrinsically safe circuits on the field side.
