K-System switch amplifiers transfer digital signals from NAMUR proximity sensors and mechanical contacts installed in the hazardous area (Zone 0, 1, 2) to the control system in the safe area. Depending on the model, the input drives relay, active transistor or passive transistor outputs, and the field circuit is monitored for lead breakage and short circuit.

The range also includes safety switch amplifiers for applications up to SIL 3 and PL d, and standstill and rotational direction monitors that compare the input pulse frequency with selectable trip values and offer a start-up override.
