K-System – Isolated barriers for frequency, rotation speed and conductive level

These modules receive pulses from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts in the hazardous area (Zone 0, 1, 2) and process them directly in the barrier: they convert frequency into a 0/4–20 mA signal, compare the value with low and high trip values, and drive relay and transistor outputs. Two-input versions detect rotational direction, slip and synchronisation between two shafts.

The range is completed by conductive switch amplifiers, which supply the AC measuring voltage to level electrodes and switch a changeover contact when the conductive liquid reaches them, with on/off or minimum/maximum control and an adjustable delay.
