K-System converters receive the signal from temperature and measuring sensors installed in the hazardous area (Zone 0, 1, 2) and return it to the safe area as an isolated 0/4–20 mA signal. The range covers loop-powered Pt100 RTD converters, thermocouple converters with internal cold junction compensation, universal converters configurable with PACTware, potentiometer converters, temperature converters with trip values, and converters for strain gauges and load cells.

The universal versions accept RTDs, thermocouples, potentiometers or voltage signals and are configured from a PC; the strain gauge converter supplies up to four 350 Ω strain gauges in parallel and provides two relay outputs and an RS-485 interface.
