FieldConnex Multi-Input and Multi-I/O – Temperature inputs and digital I/O on fieldbus

FieldConnex Multi-Input and Multi-I/O devices bring onto the fieldbus signals that would otherwise need point-to-point wiring back to the cabinet. Installed in the field close to the sensors, they reduce cables and terminals and communicate data, configuration and alarms to the DCS.

TI models acquire 8 temperature inputs. MIO models handle up to 12 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs: they are installed in Zone 1 with intrinsically safe inputs and outputs for sensors in Zone 0, control up to 4 low-power valves with position feedback and are powered directly by the fieldbus.
