The RVS58S protects people, machinery and the environment: with its sine-cosine interface providing 1024 or 2048 signal periods it detects malfunctions and communicates safely, so the machine can be put into a safe condition, avoiding hazards for operating personnel. It eliminates mechanical safety devices, minimises safety areas and safety-related downtimes, and keeps the plant running during servicing or conversions.
