These junction boxes bring conventional field signals onto the fieldbus. The F.TI0 versions house the RD0-TI-Ex8 interface with 8 inputs for RTDs, thermocouples and resistance or millivolt signals; the F.MIO versions house the R8D0-MIO-Ex12 multi-input/output for discrete inputs and solenoid valves. The series also includes some FieldBarrier, Segment Protector, passive and engineered junction boxes.

The type code gives: enclosure (P polyester GRP, S electropolished 316 stainless steel, T brushed 316L stainless steel), certification and installation zone (A/G Zone 1, B/H Zone 2; G and H also IECEx) with number of channels, bus type (F FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1, P PROFIBUS PA), terminals, bus and field line entries, tag plate and grounding bar.
