EPV-1 to EPV-5 vents are components of Pepperl+Fuchs Bebco EPS pneumatic purge and pressurisation systems: during purging they discharge the protective gas to the outside through a spark arrestor and protect the enclosure against overpressure caused by the Rapid Exchange® process or a regulator failure. Once the enclosure is pressurised, the vent closes and maintains the seal. The spark arrestor versions are certified only in combination with the relevant purge system.

The vent is selected by system: EPV-1 (1/2") for 11, 1011 and 1001A, EPV-2 (3/4") for 1002 and 1012, EPV-3 (1-1/4") for 1003 and 3003, EPV-4 (1-1/2") for 1004 and 3004, EPV-5 (2") for 1005. The EPV-3-GP is the vent specified for WVT versions of the Enviro-Line 10E systems.
