The ProxATEX™ is LMK Thermosafe's patented temperature controller for heating equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres, ATEX/IECEx certified for Zone 1 and designed for THERMOSAFE® and FARATHERM® heaters and InteliHeat jackets.

All settings can be changed inside the hazardous area: with the three front push-buttons, even while the equipment is running, or by holding up an NFC card pre-programmed with the parameters. Two cards programmed to customer requirements are supplied; additional cards and a dedicated tablet to reprogram them are available. The push-buttons can be disabled or restricted to prevent unauthorised changes.
