When gas is drawn quickly from cylinders that hold it in liquid phase, the cylinder surface cools and may frost over: the flow rate drops and some of the gas is left in the cylinder. LMK heating jackets keep the cylinder at temperature and stabilise the flow rate, which is particularly important with calibration gases, where repeatability is essential.

Models

HHGA: for small 10-20 L cylinders (Ø 160-210 mm), 200 W, 0-90 °C thermostat.
HHG: for 50 L cylinders (size K), 450 W, 0-90 °C thermostat or 0-50 °C digital thermostat (HHG DIGI).
HJWGB: for 47 kg propane cylinders, 690 W, fixed 50 °C thermostat, IP56 ingress protection for outdoor use.

Pressure monitoring systems must always remain active in accordance with safety regulations. For cylinders in hazardous areas, the ATEX/IECEx InteliHeat Flexiplus (IHF/G) versions are available. On request, LMK makes jackets for horizontal cylinders, skids and large ISO tanks.
