Insulated flexible jackets with an integrated liquid circuit to cool or hold the temperature of drums, IBCs, tanks and process vessels. They run on chilled water, warm water or glycol, connected to plant services or a chiller.
Many industrial processes require products to be cooled or kept within a controlled temperature range. Heat generated by mixing, chemical reactions, pumping or high ambient temperatures can affect product quality, change viscosity, shorten working time and make the process less consistent.
LMK Thermosafe flexible temperature control jackets solve this by circulating a temperature-controlled liquid through a pipe network built into an insulated jacket. Using chilled water, cooling water, warm water or other suitable heat transfer fluids, the jacket provides uniform heat transfer over a large surface area while limiting unwanted heat exchange with the surroundings.
They are suitable for cooling or temperature maintenance (generally up to 50 °C) and connect directly to plant services, a dedicated recirculating chiller or a temperature control unit (TCU) for accurate closed-loop control.
The heat transfer fluid circulates inside the jacket, either removing excess heat from the process or holding the product at the required operating temperature. High-performance insulation improves efficiency by reducing heat exchange between the vessel and its surroundings. For precise, repeatable control the jacket is connected to a recirculating chiller or a TCU (not supplied with the jacket, available from several vendors: we can put you in touch with a specialist partner).
How to request a quote: tell us the container type and size, the temperature to hold or the heat to remove, and the fluid available on site (cooling tower water, chilled water, glycol, chiller).
