Faster closing of single-acting actuators

The quick exhaust block is fitted to the 1/4" NAMUR interface of a spring-return pneumatic actuator and reduces its closing time: on exhaust, the air leaves through two large G1/2 ports at up to 2,500 l/min.

It is piloted by a 1/4" NAMUR solenoid valve or by an in-line solenoid valve. A built-in check valve prevents the surrounding atmosphere from entering the actuator, while ventilation of the spring chamber is still ensured.

The body is made of anodised aluminium with NBR seals and brass internal parts. Besides the standard version (-10 to +70 °C), a low-temperature version (-40 to +50 °C) is available. The device is rated SIL 2 (ISO 13849-1:2015, category 2, PL d).
