Rack and pinion rotary pneumatic actuator with a hard-anodised extruded aluminium body, for automating ball, butterfly and other quarter-turn valves. At 6 bar it delivers 272 Nm double acting; in the spring return version with the standard spring set it gives 175.4 Nm air torque at start of stroke and 90.4 Nm spring torque at end of return.

The twin rack design balances internal forces and keeps torque constant throughout the stroke; the cam and adjustment screw chamber is separate from the piston chamber, reducing potential leak points. Travel is adjustable by ±5° in both opening and closing.
